Make Hey is a graphic design studio in Pukerua Bay, New Zealand, led by myself, Kate Johnson. I work across a range of industries to produce conceptually rich, aesthetically timeless designs. My work strives to find balance at the intersection of function and beauty, masculine and feminine, old and new. I have been delighted to work with clients both locally and internationally.
Design isn’t just about how something looks, it’s about how it makes people feel. That’s why I never just create a logo, I build full brands. I work with clients to draw out and celebrate the deeper meaning behind their business, let that guide the design process, and create a memorable experience for their audience to interact and connect with.
