Melbourne Capsule / Long weekend edit
Wee hoo! This week we are off for a child free (sort of) weekend to Melbourne! It is our Babymoon #2. We went there when I was pregnant with Carter and it is a city that has always and will always have my heart! From the coffee, to the shops, cafes and restaurants, I find it irresistible. So, I thought I would put together a Melbourne Weekend Capsule - Maternity Special (which actually doesn't include one maternity item!).
It goes without saying that at 30 weeks, I am packing for comfort! The city isn't known for its tropical climate, so it's going to be no different than a winters day in Wellington. Cue the merinos and my go-to parka. As I mentioned earlier, this doesn't actually have one single "maternity" item included. In fact, my wardrobe doesn't include one at all. So with some clever picks, these items have been with and will be with me, for many seasons to come. My wallet is thanking me!
That been said, I intend to spend these 3 days trawling through as much of this stunning place as I can. Do you have a shop, cafe, coffee must-have experience, I can't miss? Be sure to let me know in the comments below! First thing on the agenda Saturday morning is Doughboys Doughnuts and La Belle Miette. Two essentials!
Enough talk, lets look at what's going in the suitcase. A total of 12 items! Accessories included. That leaves plenty of room left over, for what's most likely going to be baby clothes!
I have had many people ask for a Maternity Capsule so I hope this sort of covers that! I know I have been terrible in keeping those posts up. The capsule is still going strong. I tend to not be so season strict and just look to reduce the amount I purchase every three months. As always I pick quality over quantity and know what I am buying is going to be worn and loved for many seasons to come.
I have to say a special thanks to Nana who is coming to look after C and our zoo of pets. Wish me luck on four days away from my little man...
